By Ministerial Order of 13 October 2023,, the Ministry of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy has set the date for the reconstitution of employee delegations for the 2024 to 2029 time frame
The Decree sets 12 March 2024 as the date for the ballots to be held to designate the employee representatives..
Where the organisational requirements of the company do not allow for the ballot to be held on 12 March 2024, the ballot is allowed to be held no earlier than 10 March 2024. In that case, the ballot must be closed and the votes counted on 12 March 2024.
As a reminder, all companies (regardless of legal form or the nature of their activities) which had at least 15 employees in their employ under the terms of an employment contract during the twelve months prior to the first day of the month in which the ballots are announced at the company (i.e. from 1st February 2023 to 31 January 2024), are under obligation to organise said elections.
