The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) sets out European rules on the processing of personal data, including HR-related data. Even if your company is based outside the EU, there are circumstances in which the GDPR may apply. With this new Ius Laboris  tool, it is possible to find out if the GDPR applies to the transfer of employment-related personal data by answering a few quick questions.

The tool is useful for: companies based in the EU that want to transfer personal data outside the EU; those based outside the EU that want to receive data from inside the EU; those based outside the EU that want to send data about EU citizens to another country outside the EU.

Access the tool here .
